A 24 sided polygon is a tetracosagon. The frame has a dark brown stain on pine with a satin lacquer finish. 7 polished brass buttons on the bottom of the frame control all the light levels and colors. The large unique ring clock keeps accurate time. The hand painted map is the older version with clouds. It plugs into 120v, weighs 30 lbs and stands out from the wall about 7 inches
